“In the mood" is a place where you can explore various opportunities to connect with nature, even if only for a little while. Spending time in nature means "embracing any situation." Regardless of our human actions, nature always prevails. We are challenged to think and act based on what we can do with our individual bodies in such situations. This presents an opportunity for self-reflection. The essence of outdoor activities goes beyond learning practical skills like making a fire; it's about accepting oneself, even if unable to perform certain tasks, trusting that "things will work out somehow, so it will be okay," and having the ability to plan ahead. Immersing yourself in nature is a chance to alter the "now" slightly. We believe that this is where the strength to live is nurtured.
Our aim is to establish an "inn" that surpasses being just a "lodging facility"; it's an "inn" where people come to understand and appreciate the entire region through the inn and various activities (outdoor nature experiences, regional sightseeing, local experiences, etc.), inspiring them to return.

The natural warmth of the wood, sourced from large sustainable chestnut pillars and dining tables, combined with distinctive straw-kneaded walls, elegantly plastered earthen flooring, and an original open kitchen, all contribute to an indescribable atmosphere.
The private garden, accessible from the dining room, is designed around the theme of planting trees to evoke a natural setting. Enjoy a luxurious experience as you barbecue and gather around the bonfire with family and friends, all while taking in the breathtaking view of Mt. Fuji.

The original stretch tents have roots in the dwellings of nomads in the desert. Originating from South Africa, these large tents are robust and flexible, featuring a thick stretch material supported by poles and tensioned with ropes from all sides. In the mood is an authorized distributor/exhibitor for Stretch Tent Company, providing a luxurious BBQ space under a stretch tent.

Tent Sauna in the Forest
Our sauna is a sanctuary where you can be present, observing things as they are, free from unnecessary judgments. Connected intimately to mental well-being, the sauna room is a space for candid conversations. Sauna has become a significant movement, especially against the stunning backdrop of Mount Fuji, offering an organic and detoxifying experience to invigorate both body and mind.
